A pair of Indiana Fever players are continuing to put in the work overseas, even in close losses.

Damiris Dantas and Grace Berger, both playing in the Turkish KBSL women's league, have had a great run this offseason for Botas Spor and Ormanspor, respectively.

Dantas capped off her 2024 on a high note, tallying 18 points in a tough three-point loss to Melikgazi Kayseri on December 29. Dantas also grabbed seven boards to go along with two assists and a steal.

Dantas will be leaned on heavily this upcoming season for Indiana. The loss of Temi Fagbenle, who was picked up via expansion draft by the Golden State Valkyries, has left the Fever front court with a few holes. Dantas will be expected to serve as Aliyah Boston's primary backup off the bench, as well as the power forward in taller lineups.

Berger, whose Ormanspor squad also lost by three points on Sunday, showed off her ability to fill up the stat sheet. The 25-year-old guard shot 44% from the field, dropping 19 points in 32 minutes. She also grabbed four rebounds and picked up four assists.

The Indiana University product is yet to carve out a significant role in her two years with the Fever, but her performance in Turkey has been impressive. She is averaging 13.5 points per game in 13 contests, playing an average of 35.1 minutes per night.

While the Indiana back court is pretty congested with stars such as Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Lexie Hull, Berger could see an increase in her role should Mitchell plan to sign elsewhere in free agency.
