The Mist walked away with their first win of the Unrivaled season after beating the Vinyl 77-67.

The Mist were without DiJonai Carrington after news broke earlier in the day that she had been traded to the Dallas Wings. The team then relied heavily on their veteran star Breanna Stewart. She finished with a double-double after collecting 25 points and added 10 rebounds.

There was plenty of contribution all around in the Mist's first win as four players scored in double figures. Jewell Loyd added 15 points and Aaliyah Edwards had herself a decent performance after contributing 16 points which included the game-winning 2-pointer. The Mist showed great improvement as they recorded almost 60% field goal shooting and 50% from 3-point range.

The Vinyl trailed going into the second half and would eventually cut into the Mist lead after trailing by almost 10 points late in the second quarter. Once the fourth quarter started the Mist took the lead after a quick three-pointer by Breanna Stewart and didn't look back.

Dearica Hamby had a monster night finishing with a double-double after she put up 35 points and 15 rebounds for the Vinyl. As for Aliyah Boston, she was quite after only playing for 4 minutes and finishing with just 4 points.

"When you're 0-4 it's tough. But we continue to grind, and here we are," Stewart said during a post-game interview.

Each team will see their next round of action Monday Feb. 3. The Mist will face the 2-3 Phantom and the Vinyl will meet with the undefeated Lunar Owls.
