The 2024 WNBA rookie class was full of big names known for their impressive play in college. No player from that class had more eyes on her than Caitlin Clark. After a rough start to the season, Clark quickly established herself as one of the best guards in the game already.

On the way to winning the Rookie of the Year award, Clark recorded the most points and assists by any rookie in WNBA history, claimed the first triple-double by a rookie in league history, and was the first rookie since 2008 to make the All-WNBA First Team.

Clark and the Fever may have been swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Connecticut Sun, but the hype around the rookie phenom was still justified.

The WNBA was already on an upward trajectory, led by established stars such as A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, and many others. Clark added a massive boost in viewership and regularly sold out arenas all over the country when she came to play there. And that was just during her rookie season. Clark is not in her prime yet and will only continue to get better.

So will her team. The Fever seem ready to meet the pressure that comes with having two young, talented players, like Clark and Aliyah Boston, and are gearing up for contention. They already made some changes in the front office, bringing back Kelly Krauskopf, who built the championship team around Tamika Catchings, and hired a new head coach with plenty of playoff experience.

Even as a rookie, Clark has shown she can make any team into a contender if surrounded by the right supporting cast. She already made the Fever one of the more popular teams during the 2024 WNBA season, and now, it seems, the hype is following her to another sport.

Caitlin Clark will be showing off her golf game

Clark is not just excellent at basketball. She is also quite the golfer, and on Wednesday, November 13, fans will be able to watch her at the ANNIKA Pro-Am. The Golf Channel will provide coverage and live look-ins on her round, starting at 11 am ET according to Scott Agness. There will also be plenty of highlights available on social media for those unable to catch her run on TV.

This was not the original plan. Clark’s participation drew so much interest that the Golf Channel decided to expand its coverage and give Clark’s fans all the golf coverage they could possibly want.

If anyone needed more proof of Clark’s immense impact on the world of professional sports and her draw on fans, this is it.
