The Indiana Fever now have its third representative officially announced for new 3v3 league Unrivaled.

Fever forward Katie Lou Samuelson was announced as Unrivaled Wildcard #2, joining LA Sparks rookie Cameron Brink as the only two post-draft additions to the league. Samuelson joins the Phantom, alongside Satou Sabally, Jackie Young, and Tiffany Hayes.

Samuelson is coming off a season where she played valuable minutes for Indiana, mainly off the bench. She averaged 4.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game in just under 19 minutes per game. Samuelson will likely come off the bench for the Phantom, but her ability to space the floor will be coveted in the second unit.

Samuelson has company as Fever members in the league

Samuelson joins teammates Lexie Hull and Aliyah Boston as Fever players participating in Unrivaled's inaugural season. One Wildcard spot remains, meaning another Fever teammate joining them before January 17 is not out of the question.

The Phantom Basketball Club is scheduled to open up its 2025 Unrivaled season against the Laces on Saturday, January 18.

As for the remaining Wildcard spot in the league, many have anticipated Caitlin Clark becoming the final player added to the active rosters. The reining WNBA Rookie of the Year reportedly turned down a $1 million contract with Unrivaled, but the league has made clear that Clark has a standing offer should she decide to change her mind.

The Indiana Fever did release a video showcasing Clark's offseason workout this week. Clark appears to be gearing up for next season... or maybe for January 17?

In any case, the Indiana Fever are well represented in Unrivaled. IFR will be keeping a close eye on Hull, Boston, and Samuelson as the league kicks off next month.
