Caitlin Clark's teammates on the Indiana Fever have never shied away from asking the young star to teach them a thing or two (and presumably, Clark has reaped the benefits of playing alongside some of the best in the WNBA). During an interview at the Master's Tournament this weekend, Clark revealed to reporters that those skills extend to off the basketball court — and that a few of her teammates have even asked her to teach them an unexpected skill.
Clark is a major fan of golf, something she hasn't hidden while speaking to the media throughout her career. She told reporters, "I have a lot of teammates that also don’t play…they want me to help them get into it which I think is super cute. They want to go out and play."

Caitlin Clark has competed in golf professionally
Clark's enthusiasm for golf isn't something that's merely at the amateur level (because when does Caitlin Clark do anything unseriously?). She has competed in the sport professionally, most recently at The ANNIKA Pro-Am alongside Annika Sorenstam and Nelly Korda back in November 2024. Clark joined the game as a special guest, but made it clear from the beginning that she was playing seriously.
"It was so fun," she told reporters. "Getting to see (Nelly and Annika) do what they do up front, people would pay for that. I got to do it for free and have fun with them. Definitely a fun morning. I feel very thankful that Gainbridge had me out here. Obviously, their support of women's sports is tremendous. Very lucky and fortunate. Hung in there, did alright. It was a good day."
Clark did a pretty solid job on the green during the game, and both Sorenstam and Korda commented on her skills and professionalism after the fact. "It's great that's (Caitlin is) here. Very thankful to her to take the time to be part of our event," Sorenstam said. "he's a really nice person, down to earth. She's an athlete, you can tell. If she didn't hit it well, she's a little bit upset because she knows she can do it. She just doesn't play a lot. She has some power off the tee. It's wonderful of the fans come out here and support her. It's great for the Tour."
Caitlin Clark is ultra-competitive
Clark has not been shy about the fact that she really loves to compete at just about everything, and when she's competing, she wants to be the best. She also doesn't hold back when it's time to be honest about her own prodigious skills. During an interview on David Letterman's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, she proudly spoke about her ability to make "miracle passes," as the former late night TV host put it.
"For me, I would say it's my IQ. I feel like I can see things that are about to happen on the basketball court before they happen," Clark explained. After she was asked if that's a skill that everyone on her team has, Clark added simply, "No."
She also said that her childhood playing soccer has likely helped her with this particular skill, and said the sport taught her spacing, angles, and how to pass to her teammates based on where they are going, instead of where they are in the moment.
