Caitlin Clark has been working this offseason. She has evidently been in the weight room and a recent workout video the Indiana Fever posted on YouTube showed her dishing out passes and driving to the basket with her left hand

Season two of Caitlin Clark in the WNBA will be fun. She was great as a rookie, establishing herself as one of the best guards in the league, but there is much more to come. Now that Clark has some experience as a pro and better teammates and had an offseason to work on her game, she will be ready to take her game to the next level. With that, the Fever will reach the next level as well.

The Fever’s latest workout video further proves that. The video shows Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and offseason addition Brianna Turner working out together. First of all, it is great to see two of the Fever’s most-used guards develop chemistry with their new teammate. Secondly, the video hints at some offensive improvements for the Fever.

Fever fans should expect a more dynamic offense

In the video, Clark is running off-ball actions, coming off screens to get open for shots. Clark is the best playmaker on the Fever’s roster, averaging 8.4 assists per game as a rookie, but the Fever also have to figure out ways to get her good looks. Despite the high-level additions to the Fever’s roster, defenses will still be focused on Clark and make things difficult for her.

So, Stephanie White will have to get creative at times and use Clark off the ball. If the Fever can develop a more dynamic offense in which the players and the ball move frequently, Clark could soon look like Stephen Curry, flying around the court, coming off screens, and hitting countless threes.

This should not only unlock a new dimension of Clark’s game but also make the Fever’s offense deadly. Even with a defensive-minded coach and some two-way additions, like DeWanna Bonner, Sophie Cunningham, and Brianna Turner, the Fever may not be as strong defensively as some of the other top teams in the league. They can make up for that with a top offense, though. Using Clark not only as a creator and initiator but also as an off-ball weapon will help with that.

Creating one of the most dynamic offenses in the league will also help the Fever live up to the high expectations the W has set for the team. Indiana will have a league-high 41 of its 44 regular season games appear on national TV, including two prime-time matchups against the Chicago Sky. The WNBA clearly indicated that the Fever are a must-see team in the 2025 season. Putting Clark in the best position to score will help the Fever live up to that hype.
