Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark continues to take the WNBA by storm. The 22-year-old rookie is already the league’s most popular player, and she keeps doing unprecedented things. Clark is close to setting a WNBA record as has the Fever are in position to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Clark is already an All-Star and figures to be one of the league’s best players for years to come. She has hit the ground running in the WNBA after an incredible college career at Iowa. Some questioned how much the number one pick would struggle as a rookie. Her shooting efficiency and turnovers must improve, but Clark is taking the entire league to new heights.

Things are not slowing down for the 22-year-old superstar. In the last two days, she has won two awards and produced a never-before-seen stat line. It seems unusual, but there are becoming normal for Clark.

Caitlin Clark won 2 ESPYs and was the punchline of an opening joke

Clark won two of her three nominations at the 2024 ESPY awards on July 11. She took home Best Women’s College Athlete and Best Record-Breaking Performance. Clark won both awards for her time at the University of Iowa where she broke the NCAA’s all-time scoring record.

Serena Williams even made a joke about Clark where she compared her to Larry Bird during the tennis icon's opening monologue.

It was a fantastic evening for Clark, but it was not her only impressive accomplishment in recent days.

Washington defeated Indiana 89-84 on Wednesday, but they could not stop Clark from putting up monster numbers. She produced 29 points, 13 assists, five rebounds, five steals, and three blocks in 38 minutes of action.

Clark was the first woman to have at least 25 points, ten assists, five rebounds, five steals, and five 3-pointers made in a game. 5-by-5’s are tough to complete, but Clark put up those historic numbers on July 10.

Caitlin Clark is unbelievable. She is winning awards and making history, but nothing stops her. The 22-year-old continues to produce massive numbers and has the Fever in position to end their playoff drought. What more could fans want?
