WNBA Finals MVPs a complete history: Who has won for the Fever?

The WNBA will crown a new championship after the two-time defending Aces were knocked out in the semifinals. The New York Liberty are looking for their first championship, and the Minnesota Lynx want a record fifth title. It promises to be an exciting final and it will bring the 28th Finals MVP in league history.
The Indiana Fever are building back into contention. Caitlin Clark finished fourth in MVP voting and is the brightest young star in the W. Indiana is eager to put a title-contending roster around her and the plan already appears in place.

Who has won the most WNBA Finals MVPs
Cynthia Cooper claimed the first four Finals MVPs, and nobody has matched that mark. Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Lisa Leslie, and Sylvia Fowles have each won two and are tied for second all-time.
Has someone on the losing team ever won WNBA Finals MVP?
No player from the losing team has won Finals MVP. It is difficult to do and unlikely considering the shorter five-game series in the W.
Who has won Finals MVP for the Fever?
Tamika Catchings is the only player from the Fever to win this award. Indiana made three finals appearances with Catchings leading their charge, but their lone championship came in 2012. Catchings won MVP in 2011 and Finals MVP the following year. The championship solidified her legendary career and made her one of the all time greats.
The Indiana Fever are eager to get back into the title race. They have a new superstar in Caitlin Clark but need the right pieces around her. Kelly Krauskopf built all those contending teams around Catchings and is back to help the Fever return to glory. Winning their second championship is the goal, but accomplishing it won’t be easy.
