The Houston Comets won the first four titles and are tied with the Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm for the most championships. 11 franchises have won titles in the WNBA, including two that are no longer in existence.
How many championships have the Fever won?
The Fever won the WNBA championship in 2012 and have made three WNBA Finals appearances. They lost to the Mercury in 2009 and the Lynx in 2015. Tamika Catchings and the Fever won the championships over Minnesota in 2012.
Who has won the most WNBA Finals MVPs?
Cynthia Cooper won the first four WNBA Finals MVPs, which remains an unmatched record. Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Lisa Leslie, and Sylvia Fowles are tied for second with two each.
Catchings won Finals MVP in 2012 and is the only player in Fever history to win the award. No WNBA player has won Finals MVP on the losing team.
