6. Candice Dupree

Dupree is a WNBA legend who had accomplished a ton before coming to Indiana. She was drafted sixth overall by the Sky in 2006 and made three All-Star appearances in her first four years in Chicago. Dupree was traded to Phoenix in 2010 where she played seven seasons. The 6’2 forward helped them win a championship in 2014, and the Mercury missed the playoffs just once with her on their roster.

The five-time All-Star was traded to Indiana in 2017 and instantly became the Fever’s leading scorer. It was the beginning of a strong four-year run with the franchise where she averaged 13.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 0.8 steals in 31.1 minutes per game. Dupree made two All-Star appearances, but Indiana struggled to win games.

The 6’2 forward departed in 2021 and played one final season in the WNBA before retiring. Only ten women have made more than Dupree’s seven All-Star appearances in their career, and she is sixth in WNBA history in scoring. Dupree is an all-time great and champion.

She only played four seasons with the Fever but still ranks eighth in franchise history in points and fifth in field goals made. Dupree arrived in her 30s but was still a walking bucket. Her scoring alone earned her a place on this list.
